Looked After Children with SEND

We have a Designated Teacher for Looked after Children -Miss Ferguson who is also our schools SENCO to ensure all teachers in school understand the implications for those children who are looked after and have SEN. Mrs Watret is our Governor with special responsibility for SEND and LAC; she meets with staff on a regular basis to carryout monitoring which is reported to the full Governing Body at the next available opportunity.

Looked After Children with SEND are supported in the same way as all children in school with SEND through the Graduated Response, the Assess, Plan,Do, Review cycle.
